Our personnel are routinely sent on Courses run by the industry to enable them to develop their knowledge of the air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation discipline, and their skills are carefully monitored and evaluated to ensure that our clients' receive the best possible service.

Curaim UK Limited is CORGI registered (The Council for Registered Gas Installers), and our Engineers are qualified in the safe handling of refrigerants, Curaim UK Limited possessing both REFCOM (Register of Companies competent to handle Refrigerants) and ACRIB (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry Board) registration and certification.

Health and Safety

General Statement

It is the policy of Curaim UK Limited to protect and promote the health and safety of its employees at work and to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all our employees. Curaim will also provide such information, training and supervision as they need for this purpose.

We also accept our responsibility for the health and safety of other people who may be affected by our activities.

The Company will observe its statutory obligations arising from Health and Safety legislation and from time to time publish codes of practice on specific health and safety matters which may amplify, interpret or go beyond the legal requirements and will ensure their observance.

Revision of the Company's policy is undertaken on an annual basis or sooner should new information on potential health hazards become known.

All our Engineers have successfully completed courses in Basic First Aid and our Senior Engineers have also successfully completed Basic Health and Safety and a Supervisors Health and Safety course.

Curaim produces Risk Assessments and Method Statements where necessary so that personnel are constantly reminded of the hazards which could befall them if these documents were to be ignored.

The Lead Engineer, as Safety Officer, is responsible on outside sites for maintaining and improving safety.

All employees have the responsibility to co-operate with Engineers and Managers to achieve a healthy and safe workplace and to take reasonable care of themselves and others.

In accordance with the above Acts and Regulations, Curaim UK Limited believes it has a duty to protect the client's staff and property from any dangers they may create. Our employees are aware that they have a duty to take reasonable care for their own safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions. Common sense prohibits intentional or reckless interference with, or misuse of, anything provided in the interest of safety, health or welfare.

Although the Company provides its engineers with the relevant product safety data and COSHH information it believes that no instruction, permit, certificate or any other document can give complete protection. A sensible approach together with meticulous attention to detail is the best way in which a high standard of safety can be achieved.

Curaim UK Limited is registered with the local authority as a carrier of controlled waste, and all our engineers are trained in the safe recovery and disposal of refrigerants in accordance with Section 33 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 for which Curaim UK Limited are certificated.
